And We're Off To Busch Gardens
Yeah, back to Virginia. On Saturday, Nikki and I went to Busch Gardens. For those of you that don't know, Busch Gardens is the theme park I guess endorsed by AnheiserBusch (budweiser...yadda yadda), anyway, it's just like Magic Mountain. Except it's based on countries. ANYWAY...So Nikki and I get to Busch Gardens around 12:30 or so, which is two hours after it opened. We only got on a few rides, when it started to rain. We walked through the rain for a while, taking an occasional stop in shops to rest a minute. So, we were soaked. I thought about leaving, but I figured the rain and lightning would stop, so we got in line for the one rollarcoast that's the most packed, Alpengeist. After the rain and stuff stopped, we were like first in line for the ride, excluding the people that waited in line from before the rain. So, we ride that and ride a few more rides then go to Apollo's Chariott, which is the newest ride. We get to the front, but then, right as the kids in front of us get in their seats, lightning starts and rain starts. So they had to get off the ride and get back in line. We didn't leave, we just sat for like an hour or so. Finally we get on the ride, have a good time, then move on to other stuff. We ended up leaving a little early, around 9:30, but that was okay, it was a good day overall. Then on Sunday, I went to the same place with Aly, Jac, and Sarah. We road like every single ride there, minus the little kid ones. I had a lot of fun with them, but it was a little like high school. Like, Aly and Jac had their little secret talks. It drives me nuts. I'll be talking to Sarah, when Aly and Jac say something loud enough for me to hear. And then when I ask "what?" They say, "Oh nothing." I've hated that since like forever. It wouldn't be bad, except they do it all the time. But we got to see the Imaginique show. It was like the circus without the animals I guess. Clowns and contortionists and stuff. It was awesome. It was fun. Well, I'm gonna go get something to eat. Take Care, and I'll tell more about the trip later. Plus, I'll eventually get the five camera's worth of film developed and on my site. Hai |
